Beryl

Beryl crystallizes as prismatic crystals which are sometimes striated and

sometimes terminated by small pyramid like faces.

The forms of beryl include aquamarine, bixbite, emerald, goshenite, heliodor, morganite, and golden (or yellow) beryl. Golden Beryl is addressed below.

Golden Beryl represents purity in all aspects of all planes of being. It provides for initiative and independence in thought and action. It also supports the potential of the individual, instilling guidance from the source of all life.

It opens and activates both the crown and solar plexus chakras, providing for synthesis between the intellect and spirituality, and inducing a " wise" intellect.

It stimulates activity, adaptability, and vitality.

The message of golden beryl is that there is no obstacle in any circumstance that confidence and conviction cannot resolve; there is only the need to assure that one remains open to, and has not withdrawn from, the solution.

It has been used in the treatment of disorders of the heart and spine.

It can also be useful in the treatment of concussions and damage to the cranial portion of the head.
